Document Scanner Operative

Job description

This is an exciting position for a Document Scanner Operator with experience in document scanning, to join a rapidly expanding production team within a modern and forward-thinking business, processing paper documents and converting them to a digital format. It is a full-time position with Immediate start for the right candidate.

The successful applicant must have basic I.T. skills - excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, able to meet targets & strict deadlines with good attention to detail and a high standard of quality, all of which are essential to the role.

This role is fast paced and some lifting/moving of boxes will be required, a degree of physical fitness is required.

Full training is provided.

Responsibilities and Duties
• To ensure all documents are prepared and scanned to the highest standard to meet required throughput and turnaround times, specifications and customer expectations.
• Sorting, checking, batching, labeling and reporting of all documents and create and load all image batches for production.
• To be able to exceed targeted numbers

Qualifications and Skills
• Experience in using Kodak, OPEX, IBML, scanning equipment, is an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, PC Literate, and with an ability to work as part of a team.
• Self motivated
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to receive both verbal and written instructions and fully understand the requirements quickly
• Experience of working in a production environment
• Ability to move boxes of up to 20KG

The hours of work are
• 4 days on, 4 days off
• 12 hour shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary:  £9.50 - £10.00 per Hour
